The assembly is being designed as a convivial event that encourages artists, commissioners, presenters, festival programmers and potential collaborators to explore new ways of working, share ambitions, reach new audiences, develop new ideas and, hopefully, create new art. The programme of performances, extracts, interventions and conversations includes 22 of the regions most exciting theatre and dance companies.

Through support from Arts Council England, South East England Development Agency and United Kingdom Trade & Industry we are able to host up to 30 international delegates by providing hotel accommodation and a contribution to international travel costs.
