The company
Bedlam Dance Company was founded by Yael Flexer and has for the past 15 years toured extensively throughout the UK and also internationally. Alongside touring, the company presents a diverse range of activity including, interactive installations, site-specific events, professional training and participatory projects in the community. The company’s style is characterised by informality and wit and the movement language is fast paced and space hungry.

The assembly
The company’s newest work is Doing, Done & Undone. Blending fast-paced intricate dancing with an informal sense of humour, Doing, Done & Undone reveals the impact we have on each other. It features a specially commissioned electro-acoustic score that weaves Hebrew and Arabic speaking voices together with string instrumentation. As well as offering a performance experience, Doing, Done & Undone includes the opportunity for audiences to have a direct engagement with the work in the form of an accompanying interactive installation.
