The company
Red Earth is an environmental arts group creating site-specific installations and performances exploring our relationship with the changing landscape.
Projects respond to archaeological, geological or cultural history, and involve Interdisciplinary collaborations with scientists, academics, land managers and communities.
We have presented work in Japan, Java, Mongolia and Europe in collaboration with international artists - cross-cultural interface challenging conventional boundaries.
Red Earth will be taking part in the pitch sessions.

The assembly
We are looking to develop new site-specific projects exploring international landscapes, possibly emerging from existing work (eg. Geograph 2, Enclosure, Horse Nation, Bread) and linking in with Red Earth’s agenda of intercultural collaboration: Partners in regions of archaeological, geological and geographical interest and importance; arts-based production companies, festivals and cultural departments; national, regional and local authorities; scientific and landscape-orientated organisations with an information/education agenda
to deliver; cross-cultural collaborations in response
to the landscape. |
